It a standard F1 frag body with an alloy base and steel rod for rifle launching. It has a delay fuze rather than an impact one.The rod is hollow and would have allowed the flash of the launching blank to set the delay fuze burning. the pin would have to be removed to allow the flash to reach the fuze.
